The DOLL FASHION AWARDS are featured at the annual HALLOWEEN DOLL EXTRAVAGANZA with entry open to everyone; from Junior and Novice to Professional. Specifically for Vinyl and Resin Dolls: Barbie, Gene, Tyler, Bratz and BJD, etc. Categories range from Day & Evening wear, Costume to Diorama, Redressed for those that may not sew but have a sense of style, Revamped for those who customise and re-paint dolls, as well as Two Dimensional which includes illustrations, scrap booking, paper dolls, etc.

The actual Awards are porcelain statuettes created by Doll Artist/Teacher Leanne Vassallo, and aside from individual category awards, additional awards are also presented: 'Best of Show' a popular vote by attendees, who by voting, also have a chance to win collectible dolls and prizes. 'JOY' Award (pink version statuette) & 'JOY' Rosette of Excellence, are presented for sewing excellence and attention to detail; in memory of club member and dear friend Joy West (pictured right) Forever Queen of the Prom!

Being a Halloween themed event, we also have a special Green 'WICKED' Award which is presented to entries inspired by WICKED The Musical; Good Witch, Wicked Witch, Winged Monkeys, Emerald City Flair...Let Your Imagination Soar!
